APHA (American Paint Horse) Free Internet Access to Pedigree, Performance and Progeny Records as a Member Benefit began March 1, 2000!  
In a nutshell,  if you have a current APHA membership,  you have access to the above records free online from the APHA Web Site!  Hats off the the American Paint Horse Association and it's commitment to the breed!  This information can be accessed at the APHA Web Site under "APHA Online."

NOTE:
APHA more recently have launched an enhanced subscription pedigree/performance records service for members called APHA PLUS.,  which is much faster and easier to use,  with display screens that offer more complete information on get and produce information, show records, etc. Their subscription fees are available to suit your needs, from monthly to annual subscription rates. This is truly a wonderful advancement in records retrieval.  Take a free tour here. Even if you are not a Paint horse owner, it  is worth becoming a member to be able to use this service!

ApHC (Appaloosa Horse Club) The International Breed Registry for Appaloosa Horses. Leading Show Standings, Leading Sires, Horse Point Search, etc.

AQHA Internet Records Research -- Go to the "For Members" area.  Current members are entitled to $10 worth each month. Most reports are $3 and up.

AllBreedPedigrees.com  - A large database. Public input is allowed,  and there are some errors and duplicate entries. Very useful, but errors are possibe.

Foundation Quarter Horse Association -- Database of Foundation Quarter Horses with pedigrees and percentage information.

Robin Glenn Pedigrees -- Individual Pedigrees and performance data,  catalog production -- Quarter Horses, Thoroughbreds, Paints, Race, Show, Cutting, Reining,  Cowhorse,  etc.

NCHA Lifetime Earnings look-up -- A great resource from the NCHA.

NSBA -- current point-standings in 29 categories available here.

Appaloosa Pedigrees and Horses in The ApHC Hall of Fame -- Appaloosa pedigrees,  stories,  photos,  links.  Excellent resources.

 

MISCELLANEOUS:

Aga Khan Studs -- the Official Aga Khan Studs web site containing comprehensive information on the family's involvement with Thoroughbred racing and breeding over the last 80 years. Information on over 5,000 horses with hyperlinks to complete details of the selected horse, including photos, pedigrees, race records, progeny, etc. A powerful pedigree tool for anyone interested in the Aga Khan bloodstock.

Australian Stud Book Records -- The most amazing free source of Thoroughbred records I've run across so far! This is a great site for researching older TB lines, race and produce records!!

Pedigree Query -- a free access TB pedigree lookup with over 600,000 horses in their database, many of racing age. Bring up 4 to 9 generations charts and then run many more reports,  such as inbreeding, progeny, siblings, tail-female, tail-male, hypothetical pedigrees,  etc.  This is fabulous,  and it's all free!

Eclipse On-Line -- Weathersby's internet service has up-to-date information breeding, racing and sales. Has a free pedigree search with some hard-to-find English horses.

EquineInfo -- Rose Sylvia's pedigree guide and list of links for Thoroughbreds is excellent!

Japan Bloodstock Ltd. -- Free database with race records,  etc.

New Zealand Pedigree Records -- compliments of Arion Pedigrees, Ltd, their 4 generation pedigree charts are a valuable Thoroughbred resource.

OwnerBreeder -- The world's leading journal dedicated to Thoroughbred breeding. "Alan Porter's Pedigree Perspectives,"  News,  Headlines, Feature Stories, North American Stakes,  Pedigrees of Stakes Winners,  Bloodstock Sales reviews,  etc.

PedigreePost -- Thoroughbred articles by a group of international pedigree experts,  and more.  This is super stuff!

Peruvian TB Stud Book -- searchable free online studbook - may be your answer when researching South American Pedigrees.

Thoroughbred Racing Protective Bureau can provide Horse Identity Research for a nominal fee in cases where you have a tattooed horse, but do not know their identity.
