2008 ApCHA Class Entry Forms & Descriptions

No Qualifying; Just enter!!!

To be held during the APHC World Show in Ft. Worth Texas, Oct 24-25, 2008. Basic class information is given below. This form can be used for any or all classes for 2008.

Horse owner and rider must be current members of the ApHC, ApCHA and a regional club in order to show; this applies to all listed ApCHA classes. All memberships and stall arrangements available at the show. You must have your horse entered no later than 5pm the day before the class. Don't forget to get your horse inspected when you arrive at the show.

NCHA rules for judging apply. Exhibitor must wear, long sleeve shirt, jeans, belt, chaps, boots and a cowboy hat.

Mechanical cow available for practice Thursday afternoon, Thursday evening & Friday morning. Cost: $5.00 per minute.

The YOUTH can sell ads in our program to friends, family and local businesses. $50 business card ads are the best sellers. Good Luck ads can go in the business card page of the program too!! The highest selling YOUTH will receive a custom made pair of spurs worth more than $250!!! You don't have to be riding in the show to win the spurs. Assumption of Risk, Waiver and Indemnification:

This document waives important legal rights. Read it carefully before signing. I (We) hereby certify that every horse, owner and exhibitor is eligible as entered. I have read the Appaloosa Horse Club Entry Agreement and Release. Assumption of Risk, Waiver and Indemnification as printed in this Competition premium book and agree to all of its provisions. I understand and agree that by entering this Competition, the server and any of his representatives, agent, trainer, lessees, rider, driver, handler and the horse shall be subject to and bound by the Appaloosa Horse Club by-laws and rules and the rules of this Competition and will accept as final the decision of the show Protest Committee and/or Disciplinary Committee on any question arising under said rules and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC), the Competition, officials, officers, directors, employees, independent contractors, agents, personnel, volunteers, the host city Convention & Visitors Bureau, the host facility, trade show vendors, sponsors and /or other sponsoring organizations. If any, for any action taken, I agree that any actions against the ApHC must be brought in the state of Idaho. Presentation of a signed entry form shall be deemed acceptance of these rules and all other rules pertaining to this show. In the event of failure to sign an entry form, the first entry in a class will be deemed acceptance of these rules.

:: Show Date: Friday W. R Watt Arena, Oct 24, 2008; 5:00 PM, 1st Go; FINALS: Saturday, 7:30 AM. This class is for 3 year olds. One division only. Two go rounds; highest added score determines the winner.

:: Entry Deadline: 5:00 PM on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at the show grounds. Entries not received by October 13th in the ApCHA office will be too late to be included in the printed show program.

:: Entry Fees: $800. payable at the show grounds. NOTE: Stall Fees can be paid then as well. Cattle Fee of $150. will be charged for for the First Go, AND those advancing to the Finals Round.

SWEEPSTAKES:

:: Show Date: Friday, W. R Watt Arena, Oct 24, 2008; 5:00 PM. This class is for 5 year olds or older. One go round; highest score determines the winner. For Trainers or Non-pros.

:: Entry Fees: $150. payable at the show grounds. NOTE: Stall Fees can be paid then as well. Cattle Fee of $150. will be charged

:: Prizes: Payouts, Champion Buckle, Reserve Champion Buckle.

BONANZA:

:: Show Date: Saturday, W. R Watt Arena, 7:30 AM October 25, 2008. This class is for Non-Pro riders. Any age horse. One go round; highest score determines the winner. They must own their horse (see ApHC rule 900.J)

:: Entry Deadline: 5:00 PM on Friday, October 24, 2008 at the show grounds. Entries not received by October 13th in the ApCHA office will be too late to be included in the printed show program. LIMITED RIDER:

:: Show Date: Saturday, W. R Watt Arena, 7:30 AM October 25, 2008. This class is for green non-pro riders, in an effort to bring in new cutting horse riders. To qualify the rider must never have entered a non-pro or open cutting class in any breed cutting or any ACHA or NCHA cutting event. They DO NOT have to own their mount. Rider should have some experience on a cutter. One go round; highest score determines the winner.

:: Entry Fees: $150. payable at the show grounds. NOTE: Stall Fees can be paid then as well. Cattle Fee of $150. will be charged

:: Prizes: Champion Buckle, Reserve Champion Buckle.

YOUTH CUTTING:

:: Show Date: Saturday, W. R Watt Arena, 7:30 AM October 25, 2008. This class is for Youth riders 18 & Under. One go round; highest score determines the winner. In an effort to bring in more youth riders, they don't have to own their mount.

:: Entry Fees: $50. payable at the show grounds. NOTE: Stall Fees can be paid then as well. Cattle Fee of $150. will be charged

:: Prizes: Champion Saddle, Reserve Champion Buckle.

50 and OVER: (AKA: "Masters Non-Pro Cutting")

:: Show Date: Friday, W. R Watt Arena, 2008; 5:00 PM. Entries (riders) for this class MUST be 50 or more years of age. They must own their horses. Safety belts allowed along with Velcro, super glue and double sided tape. You do not have to qualify for this class; just show up at the show and enter. Be prepared to be carded if we do not believe you are fifty! GOOD LUCK!!
