Sales (Congress and AQHA World Sale.) Sales are
analyzed and presented in 29 charts to help horse buyers
estimate the value of a horse based on age and bloodlines.
It also provides insight for consignors and buyers regarding
which sales might offer an advantage to them. The
Guide lists leading sires of horses sold, breaking that
down by age, etc. It also provides
lists of leading buyers and sellers. Unique "magic
cross" chart lists the leading sires of offspring
sold, crossing them with the maternal grandsires
to see which cross produced the highest selling offspring.
The 1996 highest selling horses are listed in a chart which
includes the age, sire, dam, service sire,
seller's name, buyer's name, the sale it was sold
in, and the purchase price. Another chart lists all
horses passed through the ring, with all the above
information, and designating no-sales and repurchases.
This is a neat book for back reference and would be useful to
compare with current breeding trends and prices. 135 pg.
